Eithne Keane

Chief Executive Officer

Eithne serves as CEO of CAL Development / CAL Construction, and co-founded the company in 2004 with Patrick Keane and Declan Wilmott. She is the sole owner of CAL Development / CAL Construction Inc., which is operated as a certified woman owned business enterprise.

Eithne has provided strategic vision and oversight to the executive team since the company’s inception; through her business acumen and effective P&L management, she has ensured the firm’s continued success and growth. Overall, Eithne has nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry.

Prior to CAL Development / CAL Construction, Eithne gained significant executive-level financial and operational experience leading the IPO process for a private firm. She is also part of the executive management team for Keanes Custom Cabinets.

Eithne maintains multiple certifications, including LEED® Accredited Professional, and holds general contractor licenses in all states where the company operates.

Eithne has been closely involved in charities at both the local and national level over the years, and actively supports a number of events annually.


Patrick Keane



Company Founder

Technical College (Honors Graduate)
As President of CAL Development / CAL Construction, Patrick has key responsibility for overall vision and growth at the company. He co-founded the company in 2004 with Eithne Keane. Through his leadership, the firm has experienced significant year-over-year revenue growth, and expanded operations to several locations in the Southeast and Southwest.

As an entrepreneur and construction executive, Patrick has led the management of commercial projects for more than 18 years. He has provided strategic planning, business development and operational expertise that has resulted in thousands of successfully executed construction projects.

Trained as a master cabinet maker in Ireland, Patrick is a highly skilled craftsman who apprenticed in Europe while completing technical college with honors. After relocating to South Florida 18 years ago, Patrick established Keanes Custom Cabinets, leading its operations for a number of years; he currently holds sole ownership in the company.

Patrick has been an active participant in charities benefitting youth organizations, and works closely with groups at both the local and national level.


Declan Wilmott

Chief Operating Officer

Declan is one of the founding members of CAL Development / CAL Construction, and became Chief Operating Officer in 2011 after serving previously as Vice President of Operations. He has primary responsibility for ensuring the firm delivers measurable, cost-effective results company-wide. As an executive team member, he is closely involved in the firm’s strategic planning and oversight, and ongoing alignment with its corporate mission. He has over 20 years of professional management experience, with a well-rounded background in multiple phases of business operations.

In addition, Declan has a strong leadership record, with almost 15 years of progressive experience at senior-level positions in the construction industry. His experience includes both U.S. and European projects. He has supervised large staffs and multi-million dollar budgets across multiple geographies, and has delivered hundreds of complex design and construction projects throughout his career.



Joe Castiglione

Joe Castiglione has nearly 35 years of experience in corporate construction and facilities management.

His CAL Construction accounts include, but are not limited to TD Bank, Bank of America, BB&T, Bank United, ADT, and Walmart. His understanding of strict adherence to project specifications and attention to detail are goals that he and the construction team stress on all projects.

As a result of Joe’s experience working in highly delicate environments such as religious facilities and banking / financial institutions, he has cultivated loyal relationships with many of the nation’s leading organizations and he has become the “go to guy” for completing projects quickly and skillfully while causing minimal disruption to existing operations.

Prior to working with CAL Construction, Joe worked for Sports Authority managing new facilities operations in 15 states and Canada.

Joe Benz has over 27 years of experience, working with a wide variety of clients, architects, and construction professionals.

This experience includes projects for financial, healthcare, retail, government, education, and residential clients.

Clients include, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Suntrust, PNC Bank, Wells Fargo, Novant Health, Coldwell Banker, and the US Army Corp of Engineers, to name a few.

Property management companies include JLL, Lincoln Harris, CBRE, Bissell, and Trinity Partners.

The project types include ground up, high rise, interior renovations, upfits, ADA upgrades, and ATM installations, including several LEED projects.

Joe is currently based in our Charlotte, NC office, overseeing projects in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia.
